Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing large-scale data pipelines that enable our organization to make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and manage complex data pipelines using various tools and technologies such as AWS Glue, Spark, and Terraform.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
* Develop and maintain high-quality code that is scalable, efficient, and well-documented.
* Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure that data is accurately and efficiently ingested, processed, and delivered to support business needs.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and implement new techniques and tools as needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
* Strong experience with data management architectures, particularly in the AWS environment.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, and SQL.
* Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and NoSQL databases.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Gitflow and Jenkins.
* Certification in cloud computing or data engineering.
* Experience with data governance and security best practices.
