* About the Role: We are seeking a skilled backend developer who excels in C#/.NET and focuses on writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Develop Maintainable Applications: Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using C#/.NET and integrate with APIs like Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime.
o Determine System Architecture: Contribute to system design, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications.
o Write Quality Code: Implement and test maintainable, well-documented code, with a focus on automation and software best practices.
o Support Production Systems: Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution.
o Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams, while mentoring junior engineers.
o Prioritize Security and Compliance: Embed security best practices and maintain compliance with FinTech regulations.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
o Technical Expertise: Solid foundation in design patterns, software development best practices, and principles like SOLID and Clean Code.
o Proficiency in C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, and Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs).
o Familiarity with asynchronous microservices architecture and distributed systems.
o Experience with modern front-end and server-side technologies such as Node.js and React.
