Fully coeducational, with about 1,000 pupils, aged from 3 to 18, it is a school with history and tradition, but it embraces innovation, contemporary values and the latest in digital learning. Our recent BSO inspection judged us as a leading British School overseas.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport pupils’ learning in both group and individual settings, following the direct guidance of the class or specialist teacher and upholding high expectations of teaching and learning.Promote positive values, attitudes and behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy, helping pupils develop confidence, skills, good judgement and independence.Assist in organising the learning environment and preparing resources, ensuring sports equipment is well maintained and readily available to maximise teaching and learning opportunities.Maintain a safe and respectful environment by supervising pupils, engaging with them positively and mediating conflicts when necessary, ensuring their physical and emotional safety at all times.Communicate effectively with class and specialist teachers/coaches, both verbally and in writing, to ensure consistency throughout the school day.Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, enabling full participation in activities.Encourage inclusion and acceptance of all pupils, helping each child to feel valued and successful in their learning.Model the school’s professional standards, including appropriate uniform, punctuality, attendance and conduct with all members of the school community.Support the coach in improving pupils’ performance and ensuring their health and safety, including responding to any medical issues that may arise.Engage in professional development opportunities offered by St Paul’s, attending staff meetings, INSET and training sessions to continuously develop knowledge, skills and best practice.QualificationsHigh School Diploma.Fluent English.Diploma in Physical Education or current enrolment in a PE course (desirable).
