The Development Area transforms Serena's strategic vision into real projects, ensuring a robust and sustainable pipeline. It acts as owner in capital allocation, seeking excellence, questioning limits, and converting opportunities into solid assets. It maintains the client at the center of decisions, anticipating risks and resolving relevant problems in the energy sector with integrity and ethics.
Technology is an essential pillar, using data, digital tools, and AI to accelerate analyses, qualify decisions, and drive innovation. By incorporating technological solutions, it simplifies processes and expands Serena's ability to generate value in a constantly evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Originating and Structuring Projects Mapping new project, market, and cluster opportunities. Conducting initial triages, evaluating technical, regulatory, and commercial viability;
* Structuring critical, organized, and consistent feasibility analyses;
* Managing Licensing and Regulation Following up on licensing, authorization, and opinion processes. Interacting with regulatory areas to ensure technical alignment and deadlines;
* Coordinating and Mobilizing the Network Engaging internal areas (regulation, law, engineering, energy, market) to unlock topics;
* Ensuring clarity on what each area needs to deliver and when;
* Maintaining simple, direct, and structured communication to avoid rework;
* Preparing Decision Materials Preparing presentations, notes, and executive analyses for committees;
* Synthesizing complex information clearly, logically, and focused on decision-making;
* Highlighting risks, options, premises, and recommendations;
Requirements of the Position:
* Completed Engineering degree;
* 1–3 years in renewable energy project development;
* Knowledge of access processes (ONS/ANEEL), sectoral norms, land, environmental licensing, contracts, and resource analysis;
* Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI knowledge;
* English: Fluent.
Differentiators: Programming, MS Project, additional GIS/QGIS knowledge.
