Urban Development Professionals are sought after to work on diverse international projects under the EIB priorities framework contract.
We are building a team of experts for short-term assignments related to regional and urban development, urban buildings and social infrastructure, economic development, and disaster risk management. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in one or more of these areas, along with expertise in EU, EIB, and WB financed projects.
A Master's degree or relevant Bachelor's degree is required. Specific professional experience within urban and regional development, including transition to climate neutrality, land use integration, sustainable mobility, smart cities, eco-districts, brownfield regeneration, cultural heritage, climate mitigation & adaptation, and territorial governance mechanisms is desirable.
In addition, the successful candidate will have experience working with urban buildings and social infrastructure in integrated urban/regional development, such as urban infrastructure, municipal utilities, green buildings, business infrastructure, education facilities, and healthcare buildings.
The role also requires skills in disaster risk management across all stages of the DRM-cycle, specifically natural and man-made disasters. Excellent command of English is essential (CEFR C1 minimum).
