The Canada & Global Compliance Monitoring Manager is a senior role responsible for leading and overseeing all Compliance activities in Canada while also managing and strengthening Compliance operational monitoring across all the organization's countries. This position combines strategic advisory, people leadership, and operational governance, ensuring that Knight’s global compliance program is effectively implemented, monitored, and continuously improved, with strong alignment between global standards and local execution. The role acts as a key compliance leader for the Canadian organization and as a manager of the global monitoring activities, ensuring audit readiness, risk prevention, and operational excellence across compliance processes.


1. Canada Compliance Leadership & Advisory · Act as the primary Compliance lead for Canada, with accountability for all local compliance matters. · Serve as a senior advisor to marketing, medical, commercial, and support functions on compliance policies, Code of Conduct, KWI, IMC Code, and local regulatory requirements. · Oversee and, when required, personally support the review and approval of promotional materials, interactions with HCPs, events, contracts, sponsorships, donations, and third-party engagements, including approvals in Veeva. · Support internal investigations, issue management, and remediation plans related to Canadian compliance matters, in coordination with Global Legal and HR. · Oversee the deployment of mandatory compliance training in Canada, ensuring relevance, quality, and engagement. · Support the development and delivery of compliance communications, awareness initiatives, and culture-building activities.


2. People Management & Team Development · Directly manage and coach the Operational Compliance Specialist, setting clear priorities, objectives, and performance expectations. · Ensure effective delegation, quality control, and timely execution of monitoring, documentation, and audit-related activities. · Support the Operational Compliance Specialist development through mentoring, feedback, and skills development.

3. Compliance Operations & Monitoring Oversight · Oversee the execution of compliance monitoring activities across the company’s countries, ensuring consistency with global methodologies, policies, and standards. · Review monitoring results, identify trends, root causes, and systemic risks, and ensure proper escalation and remediation. · Ensure timely tracking and closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). · Supervise compliance training completion, accuracy of records, and follow-up actions with local teams. · Ensure continuous internal and external audit readiness, including proper documentation, evidence management, and retention practices. · Review audit findings and actively participate in defining remediation strategies as applicable. · Maintain document repositories for the monitoring documentation, ensuring version control, accessibility, and alignment. · Provide guidance on documentation expectations and monitoring procedures to local teams.


4. Continuous Improvement & Strategic Projects · Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and strengthen compliance processes and tools, including AI. · Actively contribute to global and regional compliance projects, including implementation of new systems, monitoring methodologies, or governance frameworks. · Provide structured input to the global compliance strategy based on operational insights and local risk · Collaborate with the Global Compliance team to standardize processes across regions.


- 6-8+ years of experience in compliance, internal controls, audit, or a similar function in a multinational pharmaceutical company.


- Excellent organizational and documentation management skills.

- Ability to work across multiple time zones, cultures, and business units.

- Proven experience in people management or team leadership.

- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels

- Spanish and english comunication is a must.
