Project Overview
Synopsis
This position involves working on a greenfield Calypso instance, providing support and additional build-out services. The primary responsibility is to establish a comprehensive and integrated approach to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on the greenfield Calypso instance.
The ideal candidate will develop necessary solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements, create and deliver assigned projects/tasks, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Key responsibilities include managing and establishing methodology and best practice for BO/Accounting/Operations/Finance requirements, ensuring supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored, and working closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
Responsibilities
1. Develop solutions to Back Office (BO)/Accounting/Operations/Finance requirements
2. Create and deliver assigned projects/tasks and revise as needed
4. Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to implement projects effectively
5. Submit status reports and coordinate updates with stakeholders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. At least 2 years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles
3. Deep knowledge of financial products across assets
4. Proven track record of delivering accounting and finance-related solutions within Calypso
5. Experience with adherence to governance frameworks and handover to BAU
6. Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts and technology
7. Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner
8. Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
9. Comfortable with direct communication with technical and business resources
10. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
11. Experience working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment
You may also be required to act as a business analyst to help the team gather and write requirements and acceptance criteria.
