Senior Database Engineer / Lead Dba - This is not a typical application development role; we are looking for a /"under-the-hood/" expert who understands database internals, performance optimization, and the complexities of migrating data between NoSQL and Relational environments. As a technical lead, you will manage high-stakes backend operations, automate audit compliance, and guide the team through complex data mapping and environment refreshes. What You Will Do- Core Administration: Perform deep-dive backend management of DB2 LUW (Linux, Unix, Windows) environments. - Environment Management: Execute test environment refreshes and manage data flow from Archive (AR) environments into active test streams. - Modernization & Migration: Lead the charge in migrating data from NoSQL to Relational databases, focusing on complex data mapping, relationship building, and schema design. - Cloud & NoSQL: Manage tasks related to AWS RDS and NoSQL platforms, ensuring high availability and performance. - Automation & Compliance: Develop automation scripts for audit compliance and security protocols. - Performance Tuning: Act as the subject matter expert for advanced SQL tuning and database optimization. - Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior and mid-level engineers.
