About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Tax & Accounting Manager to join our Controllership team and lead the accounting and tax operations for our Brazilian and U.S. entities.
This is a strategic role responsible for ensuring compliance with BR GAAP and US GAAP, managing cross-border tax complexity, and driving process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency across the finance function.
You will lead a team of 4–7 professionals and work closely with leadership, auditors, and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close under BR GAAP and US GAAP
Manage intercompany consolidation, eliminations, and reconciliations
Oversee the Brazilian tax operation, including direct and indirect tax calculations and statutory filings (SPED, ECF, ECD, etc.)
Coordinate the U.S. tax operation with external advisors
Manage transfer pricing processes between group entities
Lead the external audit process and act as the main point of contact with Big Four auditors
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within NetSuite
Explore the use of AI and automation tools to improve reconciliations, financial close, and variance analysis
Lead, develop, and mentor the Accounting & Tax team
Provide financial insights and reporting to support leadership decision-making
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with active CRC certification
Previous experience at a Big Four audit firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC)
5+ years of corporate experience after Big Four, ideally in high-growth or technology companies
Strong knowledge of BR GAAP/IFRS and US GAAP
Experience with intercompany consolidation and transfer pricing
NetSuite experience as a primary ERP
Fluent English (daily interaction with U.S. teams and auditors)
Experience leading and developing accounting or tax teams
Nice to Have
Strong background in tax and fiscal disciplines
Experience with Brazilian tax incentives (Lei do Bem, Lei de Informática)
Familiarity with tax automation tools
Experience implementing AI or RPA in accounting processes
Experience optimizing NetSuite workflows, scripts, or dashboards
Postgraduate degree or certifications such as CPA or MBA in Finance
