Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing tasks related to Seaborn's telecommunications services, with the main activities highlighted below:
· Manage CLS (Telecom) tools, SLTE equipment, terrestrial, IP, and DCN equipment;
· Conduct regular inspections of the Beach Manhole, Manhole, and ducts through periodic rounds;
· Perform activation, physical configurations, and performance testing for new customers at the CLS and POPs;
· Conduct periodic visits, when necessary, to Seaborn's POPs (Points of Presence);
· Perform fiber optic integrity tests on the spare cable in the fronthaul;
· Operate and maintain Seaborn's telecommunications equipment in Brazil (DWDM, routers, switches, and other network devices);
· Carry out telecommunications testing activities in the transmission room or customer area to ensure backbone integrity and performance, without any exposure to high-voltage equipment;
· Continuously monitor and follow up on the receipt of trouble tickets;
· Schedule and escort customer technical visits at POPs (Points of Presence);
· Control and monitor Seaborn's network equipment inventory in Brazil (Juniper, Infinera, Alcatel, etc.);
· Provide support to the NOC team;
· Conduct regular audits on telecom equipment to ensure quality at Seaborn's technical POP sites in Brazil;
· Update and maintain purchase control related to telecom equipment and materials at the CLS.
Required Experience
:
· Interest in new technologies and current trends related to telecommunications networks;
· Availability to work on an on-call schedule;
· Advanced/Fluent English;
· Standard knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
· High School Diploma
· Technical Vocational School
