We're seeking an accomplished Delivery Leader to oversee the execution of intricate, multifaceted initiatives within our agile engineering environment. This pivotal role serves as a liaison between business, product, and engineering – distilling priorities into actionable plans and driving clarity throughout the delivery process.
This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and excels at guiding cross-functional teams towards shared objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive delivery strategies, encompassing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog refinement, prioritization, and task tracking (Jira)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and fostering alignment across teams
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve obstacles, and adapt plans as priorities evolve
• Facilitate workshops, stand-ups, planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings as needed
• Support prioritization decisions by offering insights, trade-offs, and impact analysis
• Continuously refine delivery processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and predictability
• Track and report on delivery progress using relevant metrics and tools
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives
• Strong background working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
• Hands-on experience utilizing Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking
• Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing capacity
• Ability to operate in ambiguous settings and bring structure and clarity
• Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs
• Basic SQL skills and familiarity with finance or accounting concepts are a plus, but not mandatory
