PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields;Advanced English;Solid experience in high-pressure X-ray techniques (diffraction and/or spectroscopy);Track record of work at large-scale scientific facilities (preferably synchrotrons);Experience in scientific leadership, team management, and coordination of complex projects;Strategic vision and ability to integrate instrumentation development, science, and user support;Strong publication record and international recognition in the field.Lead the EXT group and define its scientific strategy;Coordinate the operation and scientific program of the EMA beamline;Promote integration between EMA and Seriema beamlines and the high-pressure laboratory;Manage a multidisciplinary team of researchers, engineers, and technicians;Develop new experimental methodologies in diffraction and spectroscopy under extreme conditions;Establish national and international collaborations and strengthen the user community;Foster scientific programs in quantum materials, geosciences, and functional materials under extreme conditions.
