Senior Delivery Specialist
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Delivery Specialist to spearhead the delivery execution of complex initiatives in our agile engineering environment.
This pivotal role sits at the center of business, product, and engineering, translating priorities into actionable steps, driving clarity, and ensuring high-quality work is delivered with consistency.
This is a hands-on, client-facing position for someone who thrives in taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and keeping teams aligned and productive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Owning end-to-end delivery of intricate projects from planning through execution and completion
* Designing and managing delivery plans encompassing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination
* Collaborating closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking (Jira)
* Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and fostering alignment across teams
* Identifying and mitigating risks, resolving blockers, and adjusting plans as priorities evolve
* Facilitating working sessions, stand-ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops as needed
* Supporting prioritization decisions by offering delivery insights, trade-offs, and impact analysis
* Continuously improving delivery processes, tools, and methodologies to boost efficiency and predictability
* Tracking and reporting on delivery progress using relevant metrics and tools
Required Expertise:
* At least 5 years of experience leading delivery for intricate projects or initiatives
* Strong background in working within agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
* Hands-on experience utilizing Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking
* Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing capacity
* Able to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity
* Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs
* Bonus points for basic SQL skills and familiarity with finance or accounting concepts
