This role plays a key part in ensuring reliable ingestion and transformation of data from global vendors, providing L2 support, and contributing to the ongoing development of a critical financial data platform. Eligible locations in LATAM are Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia.
Responsibilities
* Administer and support Unix-based environments that host data processing services.
* Operate and maintain ETL pipelines integrating data from multiple global sources into centralized storage (data lakes/warehouses).
* Perform log analysis, debugging, and root cause investigations in real-time production systems.
* Support services hosted in AWS, including resource and file management.
* Collaborate with global development and support teams (AMERS and Europe), especially during peak AMERS business hours.
* Use Java debugging and specific tooling.
* Contribute to the final stages of a multi-year development effort preparing for full production release.
Required Skills
* Minimum 4-6 years of experience
* Strong experience as a Unix System Administrator
* Proficiency in log analysis, root cause analysis, and production debugging
* Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline architectures
* Exposure to Java (for debugging purposes)
* Familiarity with AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
* English is mandatory

* Exposure to financial data pipelines or market data platforms
* Background in L2 application support in a regulated, high-availability environment
