DEMAND PLANNERDyStar is seeking to fulfill a key role to support the Supply Chain Manager for Brazil. The successful candidate will have 2 years international planning and replenishment experience. This is an on-site role in Sao Paulo (not open to remote or hybrid work).Must be able to communicate in English with the Americas Regional Headquarters in the United States and with the Global Headquarters in Singapore- must have good skills in writing and speaking.Job Summary: Perform Demand Planning and Replenishment activities of Finished Goods based on Actual Sales, Forecast, Inventory on hand, material in transit, open Purchase Orders and Production Lead Time in order to determine the optimum size of inventory in accordance with Global and Regional parameters. Place Purchase Orders in accordance to Demand Planning needs, and guarantee correct follow up of each one of them, as to accomplish timely delivery of the material to the required plants. Control and manage all aspects of planning activities, maintain correct inventory levels to support company goals and customer service needs, as well as avoid/minimize over stock, unhealthy inventory and short supply Assist with maintenance of data bases in MRP and guarantee Open POs are maintained at minimum levels. Attend priority and planning meetings, outage coordination meetings and scheduled review meetings and be prepared to actively participate as required.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneJob Responsibilities: Prepare correct information for the monthly planning meeting to support the monthly planning activities, ensuring the participation and communication with Sales, Marketing, BM and related areas together with the SCM team with the objective to propose replenishment at adequate quantities and guarantee delivery of products in timely manner in accordance to Global and Regional requirements. Elaborate and update the planning report to be presented in S&OP meetings, which contains: products, sales, forecast, inventory in all plants related to the planning scope, production schedule per product, material in transit, open purchase orders, new orders to be placed, overstock and stock transfers (between plants) Elaborate and update the purchase orders report as to follow each line item in the purchase order with pre allocation or allocation date, or production schedule, shipping details, documents corresponding to each shipment (invoice, packing list, B/L, COA, etc.) Follow DOA (Delegation of Authority) process when entering Purchasing Requisition or Purchase Orders. In case of airfreight orders needed, request corresponding authorization as per DOA, before placement Ensures critical analysis of inventory levels to support Company goals and manages the development of creative solutions to anticipate inventory short supply issues Prepares Unhealthy Inventory Reports monthly to be presented to Business Managers and Sales Teams so Unhealthy Inventory can be properly managed, and necessary actions are timely addressed Creates, monitors, and maintains S&OP metrics and key performance indicators, identifying resulting risks and opportunities Helps to develop advanced analytical tools and reporting figures to support the entire planning and purchasing process Facilitate cross-functional communication among the Business Units, Supply Chain and Local teams in support of major Planning & Purchasing initiatives, factory productivity, inventory levels, distribution, transportation, etc. Reviews short/mid/long term demand plans, follows up on their execution with Sales team and Business Managers to align forecast outlook. Analyzes internal demand stream information and categorizes according to demand patterns. Gets consensus forecast among Sales/Marketing/Business Managers and Supply Chain. Aligns Production Schedule of Suppliers and Production Facilities with Purchasing Plan in order to take the best benefit of freight charges and shipping opportunities. Manages and coordinates Process Improvements initiatives based on Lean Manufacturing concepts Coordinates development and homologation processes of new Service ProvidersExperience and Education Requirements: •A degree in International Trade, International Business, International Relations or related degree and • 2 years of experience in International Planning and Replenishment or equivalent experience.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: •Excellent analytical skills • Excellent computer skills, with advanced skill in MS Excel • Bilingual Portuguese-English required • Excellent oral and written communication skills • SAP (Not mandatory but nice to have it)
