Why This Seat Exists
I'm approaching my personal creative output ceiling. To keep scaling and increasing volume, I need 1–2 editors I can hand the wheel to.

If you grow the way we expect A-players to grow, this isn't just an editing role long-term. As the organization scales, strong performers have a clear path to roles like becoming Creative Strategists or even Directors.
Who We're Looking For
As a Video Editor on my team, you have:
Direct experience editing video ads for Shopify brands — tell us who you've worked with
* A developing understanding of what makes paid ads actually perform – not just look good
* Experience with AI tools (ElevenLabs, Higgsfield, Veo3, etc.)
* Strong, fluent English — you'll be reviewing scripts, writing basic copy within edits
* A portfolio you're proud of — we want to see your best DTC ad work
As a person, you are:
* Self-managing with an owner mentality
* Obsessed with improvement
* Positive and hungry
* Extremely detail oriented
* Operating with urgency
What Your Week Actually Looks Like
* I'll send you detailed creative briefs — format, reference examples, script, and key video ideas
* You'll edit 10–20 ads per week across different formats: UGC, Pure AI, AI+UGC hybrid, Mini VSLs, promotional
* Turnarounds are quick — typically 1–3 days per asset (the editing itself is rarely complicated; simple, native-feeling ads outperform over-produced ones)
* Expect a round or two of revisions to dial in the result at the start
* You'll be working with tools like ElevenLabs for AI voiceovers and frontier video generation tools for AI-generated content — full training and resources provided on both
* As you learn the standards and the brand's DNA, your autonomy and output will grow
Compensation
* Flat monthly rate — based on experience and output
* Performance bonus — cash bonus when you edit an ad that wins (profitable spend at scale)
* Profit bonus pool — when the portfolio hits monthly revenue targets, the team shares in it
