Ruby Expert Senior Software Engineer (Remote - Brazil) 🚨

Are you a Ruby expert looking to work on complex technical challenges at scale with competitive compensation?
We're looking for a collaborative and curious Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering team and help us build the tools and systems that power our unique eCommerce and warehouse operations. Every item we process is one-of-a-kind, and so are the engineering challenges we face.
📍 Location:
Remote - Brazil (preferably São Paulo)
🕒 Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday
🛠 What You’ll Do:
* Build and scale tools to optimize our outbound processes across multiple authentication centers
* Work on impactful projects like Zendesk → Gladly migration
* Develop backend systems using Ruby (and optionally Elixir, Python)
* Contribute to frontend tools with React, TypeScript, GraphQL
* Optimize storage, shipping, and inventory tracking across nationwide warehouses
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Operations
✅ Must-Haves:
* Professional English fluency (written and spoken)
* 5+ years of software engineering experience
* Strong expertise in Ruby (production-grade systems)
* Deep understanding of web application architecture and performance
* Experience with Git/GitHub workflows
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
💡 Bonus Points for:
* Experience with Elixir or Python
* Familiarity with Gladly, Zendesk, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda
* Knowledge of HTML5, CSS/SASS, and modern JavaScript
