Patent Paralegal Project Manager Job Summary
This is a full-time, remote position that involves overseeing and managing patent filing requests. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure that all requests are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
Main Responsibilities
* Preparing all documents required in connection with EP, PCT and foreign applications.
* Proactively initiating the preparation of responses to official communications and notifications.
* Coordinating filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Monitoring all assigned cases and proactively ensuring that all related deadlines are met in a timely manner.
This role requires strong organizational, leadership and management abilities, as well as significant experience managing complex projects. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this position.
Key Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting.
* Experience working with EP, PCT and foreign applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
* Comfort working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines.
* Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
* Skilled at training internal and external users in MTPE & TM workflows.
* Skilled at vendor recruitment and negotiations.
