Sales Director – BrazilOverviewOur client is seeking a Chinese speaking commercially driven Sales Director to lead and expand their business across Brazil. This role will be responsible for market development, strategic account growth, and building a strong local ecosystem across key industrial sectors.Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution of the company’s strategy in Brazil across branding, product positioning, sales, and service delivery- Drive market expansion by identifying opportunities and developing industry-focused growth plans across sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, power, metallurgy, building materials, pulp & paper, food & pharmaceutical, and mining- Develop and manage relationships with both Chinese-invested enterprises and local clients, converting leads into sustainable business opportunities- Identify and engage high-value strategic accounts, strengthening the company’s presence within key industries- Build, develop, and manage a regional client portfolio, ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue growth- Establish and expand a strong distributor and partner network, creating a scalable and structured channel ecosystem- Lead selected direct sales initiatives, including involvement in EPC projects, FDI/ODI-related business, and complex deal execution- Oversee the development and implementation of online and digital sales channels where relevant- Provide market insights and feedback to support product strategy and long-term planning- Support additional business initiatives as required by leadershipRequirements- Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally in Automation, Engineering, or a related field- Minimum 5 years of international or cross-border sales experience, with a strong track record in business development and project execution- Proven experience leading or managing sales teams and delivering commercial results- Existing network or customer relationships within relevant industrial sectors is highly desirable- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills, with a hands-on and resilient approach- Fluent Portuguese is essential, along with a good understanding of Brazilian and wider Latin American business culture- Willingness to travel and commit to long-term engagement in Brazil- Experience in automation, digitalisation, or industrial technology sectors is preferredAdditional Information- Candidates of Chinese background or with strong cultural and business alignment to Chinese enterprises are highly preferred
