TRANSITION.OGJS JOB RESPONSABILITIES - Assist the more senior members of the legal teams in the provision of legal consultancy on a variety of legal topics related to FPSO charter and services contracts entered into with IOCs or NOCs. - Offer legal support to all areas involved in the company's day-to-day operations in Brazil, interacting with key internal stakeholders on contractual, regulatory, labor (HR), facilities, communication and HSSE matters, by preparing letters, notifications, presentations and memorandums, amongst others, for clients, joint venture partners, and other stakeholders. - Assist the more senior members of the legal team in the provision of legal consultancy on a variety of legal topics related to supply chain/procurement of goods and services for the company’s operations and projects in Brazil, in support of the company’s Global Resources & Services (GR&S) and Corporate Business Solution Center (CBSC). - Communicating with and managing certain third-parties such as external counsel, contract lawyers, experts and/or auditors in line with SBM’s legal services processes. - Managing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines, often within tight timeframes. - Assisting the more senior members of the legal team in managing and progressing existing and potential claims that the company may face or have. This includes offering guidance, presenting legal opinions, liaising with external counsel, gathering documents, and providing clarifications to both internal and external stakeholders. - Assisting the more senior members of the legal team in the management of the company's strategic litigation, both judicial and administrative, having the ability to analyze legal documents and assess their alignment with the operational/commercial context of the case at hand. - Reporting and updating the LCCI Leadership Team, heads of Legal for GR&S and Operations and key business stakeholders, as applicable. - Contribute to training given to Operations, Global Supply Chain, project teams and within LCCI JOB REQUIREMENTS - Law degree/enrollment in Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). - Fluent in Portuguese and work proficiency in English (spoken and written) - PQE as in-house lawyer or in private practice. - Experience in contract drafting, claims, revision and negotiation. - Experience in the oil and gas industry will be considered a plus. - Having a postgraduate degree will be considered a plus. - LI-DP1GENERAL INFORMATION SBM Offshore is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
