The Inside Sales position is responsible for all aspects of customer communication from the time a customer Request for Quote arrives until the time the customer sends a Purchase Order for the goods quoted, the accepted order and the support for Contracts Department. This position reports to the Manager

Initiated by Outside Sales
Product Selection and Sizing of Electric, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Actuators, controls and other instruments like solenoids, positioners, limit switches. Inside Sales may enlist the assistance of the following departments:
Rotork Sales team
Other Rotork offices
Engineering – to produce design requirements, sizing, and estimated costing
Purchasing – to secure supplier quotations in order to estimate material costs
Consolidation and documentation of projected cost and delivery estimates.
Determining proper pricing levels using guidelines set by the General Manager in support of profit and sales targets.
Producing the customer quotation, to include:
Commercial terms
Technical information about the products being quoted
Schedule of price and delivery
Technical and commercial review of incoming customer Purchase Orders to compare the PO details against the quotation. The Inside Sales Manager must ensure a clean hand-off from Sales to Contracts.
Technical and commercial internal order to Rotork factories, including full product specification per quote premises.
Technical support for contracts for requesting non-Rotork product or service to fulfill customer request.
Responsibilities
Design Automation solutions for a variety of products and assemblies using knowledge of electronic controls, Hydraulic/ pneumatic actuators & controls, mechanical systems and operator interface.
Provide technical support and answers to customers, sales, production and contracts departments.
Review customer request for quotation (RFQ), project specifications.
Size, select and communicate via operational description and schematics; pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic, systems.
Devise a technical and commercial proposal based on best solution to maximize win opportunity.
Work with sales & contracts department on solutions & commercial issues.
Follow‑up on projects with company representatives, distributors, customers and area sales managers.
Able to develop tools to improve the department process efficiency (Excel conditional formatting).
