We are seeking a highly skilled expert in artificial intelligence engineering with 5+ years of experience in software and AI/ML development. This role combines technical expertise in applied AI/ML with strong back-end engineering skills to ensure the client's systems are scalable, secure, and production-ready.
As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, security specialists, and product managers to drive innovation and delivery.
You will be responsible for owning the full lifecycle of AI services from data ingestion and model training to real-time deployment and monitoring while continuously adapting to evolving requirements in a fast-moving industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Architect and deploy AI agents purpose-built for utility use cases, including predictive operations, customer engagement, and energy optimization.
* Develop APIs, microservices, and orchestration frameworks that seamlessly connect AI models with enterprise systems and data flows.
* Design and manage the complete AI pipeline, ensuring reliability, scalability, and continuous deployment.
* Address vulnerabilities unique to AI, such as model drift, bias exploitation, adversarial robustness, and hallucination control.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into the client's operating system, embedding AI by design into every product release.
* Deliver high-impact results through rapid development cycles, measured in weeks rather than quarters.
