Senior Visual Design Lead
This is a challenging role that requires a high level of visual design expertise, as well as leadership skills to manage a team of designers.
The ideal candidate will have a portfolio that demonstrates a genuine understanding of what works and what doesn't in terms of visual design, as well as experience leading or managing a design team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and refining logos, fixing layouts, improving visual hierarchy, and ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about visual design and has a keen eye for detail. The ability to work collaboratively with others is essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and provide clear feedback.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including flexible working hours and a comprehensive training program.
The role is based remotely, with core hours between 8am and 5pm EST. This provides the opportunity to work from anywhere and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently, but also be willing to collaborate with others when needed.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio that showcases your skills and expertise
* At least 2 years' experience leading or managing a design team, with a proven track record of developing talent and delivering results
* Hands-on execution skills: you should be able to create and refine logos, fix layouts, improve visual hierarchy, and ensure that all designs meet the highest standards
* Production experience: you should have worked in environments where volume mattered, such as agencies, e-commerce, or high-output teams
* Quality obsession: you should reject work that's 'fine' because fine doesn't win
