Epic Games is looking for a Mobile Game Designer to join our team working on Fortnite. In this role, you’ll work with the gameplay team to adapt features and systems that delight players with fresh experiences into mobile.Responsibilities:Adapt the vision, design, and outcome of all efforts put into improving the mobile experience on FortniteJoin forces with Design and Product to identify and solve any opportunities to improve the mobile experience in FortniteWork in the Unreal Engine to implement your designs in Blueprint in close collaboration with UI/UX, engineers, animators, VFX, sound artists, among othersWork with Production to guarantee we are constantly evaluating the mobile experience, as well as prioritizing and enabling the team to work on any issues foundAttend design review meetings to give feedback on mobile design considerations throughout developmentAttend playtests, provide feedback, and identify practical solutions to problemsEvangelize best practices for working closely with User Research and incorporating playtest feedbackRequirements:3+ years experience shipping multiple titles as a mobile game designer on Unreal or UnityStrong interest in Fortnite, BR, and multiplayer games with an understanding of what makes them workExperience designing mobile game content for GaaS model or relevant online games experiencePassion for games with a wide breadth of mobile development knowledge, including controls for mobile and UX/UIDemonstrated talent for empathizing with players and a deep understanding of player motivations, forms of play, and the effects of goal setting on playSolution-oriented problem solver who can react quickly to changing project needs and drive decisionsExceptional communication skills and the ability to fully own the outcome of a cross-disciplined teamBenefits:We pay 100% for benefits for both employees and dependents.
