The role plays a critical role in driving business growth, market penetration, and fostering strong relationships within the healthcare and medical device industry. This position supports the Regional Director by identifying opportunities, developing strategic business plans, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales and market development initiatives. The individual will work closely with distributors, internal departments, and healthcare providers to increase adoption of Cochlear devices, including CI Systems, Upgrades, Accessories, and Acoustics, while ensuring high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and execute strategies to expand market share and increase the number of surgeries for Cochlear implants and acoustics.
* Develop and implement commercial and strategic initiatives to enhance the adoption of Cochlear Nucleus products.
* Drive acceptance of Cochlear devices as a viable treatment for both adults and children.
* Act as the primary liaison between Cochlear headquarters and distributors, ensuring alignment on business goals and strategies.
* Provide ongoing support to distributors, including information and tools for effective negotiation with healthcare providers and plans.
* Collaborate with Politec to improve sales and configuration processes.
* Strategic Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with healthcare providers and payers to prioritize Cochlear products within health plans.
* Develop targeted strategies for influencing decision-makers in clinics and insurance plans.
* Healthcare Market Analysis & Reporting:
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the private healthcare and insurance sectors.
* Prepare periodic performance reports with actionable insights to enhance business strategies.
* Event Participation & Brand Influence:
* Represent Cochlear at national, regional, and international congresses, workshops, and promotional events.
* Develop and implement communication strategies to strengthen Cochlear's brand recognition among key stakeholders.
* Negotiation & Product Approvals:
* Drive increased conversion rates in negotiations with healthcare plans and customers by proposing effective strategies.
* Ensure Cochlear products receive timely approvals and are prioritized within healthcare systems.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Medical, or Biological Sciences.
* Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the ENT field or implantable medical devices sector.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the designated geographic territory.
* Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement systems in Brazil.
* Skills:
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
* Strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
* Proficient in MS Office and Sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
* Advanced proficiency in Porgues + one of the following languages: English or Spanish.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the healthcare market.
* Team-oriented, proactive, and adept at identifying and acting on market opportunities.

Requirements:

* Willingness to travel over 40% of the time and work flexible hours.
