About The Role
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own test automation across two SaaS products. This role suits someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, builds scalable testing frameworks, and coaches teams on best practices. You'll ensure quality while enabling rapid development cycles.
Responsibilities
* Build, maintain, and scale test automation frameworks using Playwright.
* Migrate existing test suites from Cypress to Playwright.
* Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar).
* Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and enforce testing best practices.
* Work with modern frontend stacks (React, Vitest) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
* Support and guide teams in adopting lightweight QA discipline and processes.
* Learn and adapt to Backendless runtime models as needed.
Must Haves
* Strong hands-on experience with Playwright in real-world SaaS products.
* Experience migrating from Cypress to Playwright (strong plus).
* Proficiency with CI/CD automation tools (GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar).
* Familiarity with Vitest, React, and modern frontend development.
* Comfort with Backendless or willingness to quickly learn.
* Ability to coach teams on testing best practices.
* Strong communication skills to bridge QA, product, and engineering needs.
