Job Description
The role of a Custom Application Developer involves working across the Microsoft PowerApps Platform as a service suite to build bespoke business apps that cater to client needs.
This position requires an individual with proven experience in complex PowerApps applications and Business Intelligence (BI) design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
Familiarity with new features in Power Platform is also essential, as well as database development skills involving basic queries, views, and a basic understanding of stored procedures/functions.
The ideal candidate will have worked through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including gathering and analyzing business requirements, functional and technical specifications, designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications, and providing production support.
Skill Requirements:
* Complex PowerApps applications & BI design, development, and maintenance
* Familiarity with new features in Power Platform
* Database development in working with basic queries, views, and stored procedures/functions
* Working through all phases of SDLC
* Documenting: End user work instructions / process documentation / software documentation
* Implementing projects under agile/scrum software development methodologies
