Job Overview
This role involves providing comprehensive support for the Murex 3.1 system, encompassing first and second-level production system support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Implement, configure and develop Murex systems in various aspects, including datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS and MDCS.
2. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather, document and verify requirements.
3. Analyse and make recommendations based on Murex implementation experience.
4. Foster a collaborative environment by following client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
5. Support IT and business audits, as well as technology risk assessments.
6. Develop and test database and infrastructure changes.
7. Perform technical reviews of production changes.
8. Document issues and resolutions within Confluence.
9. Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
10. Degree ## require direct communication with business users across the bank to diagnose and resolve critical issues.
11. Identify and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting.
12. Provide detailed information about issues to vendors and coordinate testing fixes/solutions.
13. Act as an intermediary between business and vendor teams.
14. Debug and enhance bespoke Java processes supporting Murex implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
* Strong technical capability.
* Solid understanding of datamart principles.
