Podcast Audio Specialist
The Podcast Audio Specialist is responsible for enhancing podcast audio quality, implementing sound design and ensuring overall quality control for each episode.
* Edit raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes by removing filler words, false starts and redundancies.
* Improve pacing, clarity and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent.
* Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered.
* Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers or updates when required.
* Follow embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully.
* Deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline.
* Produce 3–4 short clips per episode for marketing use.
* Support up to two rounds of edits per episode when requested.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with speakers and producers to ensure high-quality audio delivery.
* Implement sound effects and music to enhance engagement and production value.
* Conduct thorough quality control checks to guarantee error-free audio files.
* Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional audio quality.
