Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.W executive, an international HR consulting and executive search firm, is seeking a Senior Contract Manager (M/F) for its client.Our client is a leading global industrial and energy company, active in multiple countries and recognized for its large-scale projects and international reach.As part of large-scale industrial and energy projects in Brazil with an international reach, the Senior Contract Manager acts as an expert consultant responsible for structuring, securing, and overseeing complex contractual relationships.Working closely with legal, technical, procurement, finance, project, and management teams, he/she contributes to the proper execution of contracts and effective risk management.The position requires frequent interactions with partners, subcontractors, external advisors, and financial institutions, in a multicultural and multilingual environment. Occasional international travel may be required.Main Responsibilities :Lead and secure contractual negotiations with contractors, partners, and service providers (EPC, O&M, consultants, suppliers).Advise management and operational teams on contract strategy and legal/financial risk management.Supervise and monitor the contractual execution of complex projects, from development through commissioning.Review and validate key project commitments in coordination with the relevant departments.Oversee document and regulatory management, including permits, certifications, registrations, and renewals.Analyze contractual deviations and manage correspondence, claims, amendments, and potential disputes.Collaborate with technical teams to interpret contractual clauses in light of operational realities (scheduling, costs, performance).Ensure clear and structured communication with internal and external stakeholders in an international context.Contribute to the implementation of contract management procedures and best governance practices.Your profile :Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Law, International Law, or Energy Law.Experience: Minimum of 7 to 12 years in contract management or business law within industrial or energy environments, ideally at an international level.Expertise: Strong command of complex contract structures (EPC, O&M, JV, partnership, project finance).Skills: Ability to understand and anticipate technical, financial, and operational project challenges.
