What does a Senior Animator/Designer do at Hogarth?As the Senior Animator/Designer, you'll be an essential part of our dynamic creative teams, contributing your expertise to craft captivating assets and bring them to life, delivering top-notch, innovative content. You will work in a production studio supporting a client based in the United States with opportunities for exposure and growth in a large advertising network.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and design a variety of assets using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After EffectsAdapt creative assets within Brand Guidelines within tight deadlinesEdit a variety of projects including: social videos, case studies, pitch videos, web content, animatics, broadcast projects, adaptation work, etc.Collaborate closely with creatives to develop existing assets/deliverablesAssist in developing efficient workflowsCollaborate with Producers, Project Managers, and Client teams on scheduling needs and timelinesBe an integral member of the post-production team, fostering a collaborative, team-focused environmentCreate visually stunning motion graphics across online advertising, retail environments, and out-of-home displaysDemonstrate proficiency in VFX work and motion graphics design, particularly in compositing techniquesEdit video footage and integrate visual effects to enhance storytellingEngage in brainstorming sessions to offer fresh design perspectives and innovative ideasProvide creative solutions to overcome challenges encountered during projectsStay updated on the latest graphic and motion design techniquesDrive innovation and evolution within the team's work, workflow, and capabilitiesMentor junior designers, nurturing their growth and developmentContribute original creative concepts and viewpoints to project discussionsStep into a VFX supervisor role when project requirements dictateComprehensive knowledge of workflows and prep for audio, color, Flame, and After Effects sessions3D design skills in Cinema 4D and Keyshot (if able to contribute)QualificationsMinimum of 6-8 years of experience in motion graphics and interactive designImpressive portfolio/reel demonstrating diverse talents and capabilitiesProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and othersExperience in 3D design and animation, with proficiency in Cinema 4DExceptional typographic knowledge and design sensibilitiesStrong creative eye with meticulous attention to detailEffective communicator of creative and technical conceptsStrong multitasking and prioritization skillsThrives in deadline-driven environmentsStrong English communication skills able to speak with clients, correspond on emails, and work with English content for global brandsExperience with global brands as a creativeOur Hogarth ValuesHands on – No egos here.
