Overview
Huntsman is seeking a Senior Process and Project Analyst supporting the Division Name Division located in Taboão da Serra, Brazil. This position will report to the Manager Maintenance – ADMAT Americas Brazil.
Job Scope: Integrate and support the Production sector in all aspects of production, evaluate systems, and facilitate/create improvements in safety, quality, and productivity using structured improvement tools (PDCA, Apollo, Kaizen, Green Belt, etc.).
Responsibilities
Technically develop, monitor, and facilitate the implementation of improvement proposals.
Be responsible for studies and action plans for customer complaints.
Create, review, and issue work instructions and operating procedures in accordance with EHS-412 – Operating procedures.
Act as a member of the site's PSM team.
Assist shift leaders through communication and example to guide production direction.
Participate in process risk assessment meetings and invite senior operators, maintenance and shift leaders to the sessions, in accordance with EHS-403 (Process Risk Analysis).
Clarify questions from operators and shift supervisors, provide technical support for operations.
Support the maintenance team with technical issues that require replacement, updating, and improvement of equipment.
Keep technical documentation of projects and equipment up to date.
Prepare technical and economic studies applying corporate methodologies for the development and execution of projects, respecting the study phases in order to ensure a final accuracy of 10% in costs.
Control project expenses by preparing follow-up reports, aiming to keep costs under control.
Ensure that projects are executed following corporate engineering standards.
Keep all engineering documentation up to date and organized, such as calculations, drawings, and technical catalogs, in order to facilitate future consultations.
Assist in the implementation of the Procedures and Work Instructions defined by the Responsible Care Program and the Integrated Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Protection Management System in the tactical management of the process, ensuring compliance with policies and legal and other requirements applicable to Huntsman in the process for which you are responsible.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating the results of the Performance Indicators defined for the process you are managing, as well as suggesting improvements or adjustments when necessary.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Brazil.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and/or Chemistry.
Experience in the chemical industry desirable.
Skills And Knowledge
Advanced English (reading, speaking, and writing), Microsoft Office, basic dimensioning of industrial equipment in plants / Knowledge of safety processes desirable.
