Job Title: Senior Software Engineer for Healthcare and Factory Automation

\

Description: Our company is looking for a skilled software engineer to work on developing innovative applications and data solutions in the healthcare and factory automation sectors.

\


Key Responsibilities:

\

1. Work with our team to design, develop, and implement high-quality software applications that meet the needs of our clients.
\
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
\
3. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and innovations to our software development process.
\
4. Develop and maintain accurate documentation of code, architecture, and system designs.
\
5. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the codebase.
\
6. Contribute to the creation of technical requirements and specifications for projects.
\
7. Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
\
8. Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
\
9. Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and help them grow in their careers.
\
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of software with other systems and tools.
\
11. Engage in regular retrospectives and improvement initiatives to enhance the overall engineering experience.
\
12. Take ownership of specific projects or components and lead the development efforts.
\
13. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and customers.
\
14. Collaborate with designers to understand user needs and create intuitive user interfaces.
\
15. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
\
16. Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.
\
17. Help plan and execute training sessions for engineers to improve their skills.
\
18. Lead the effort to adopt new technologies and methodologies within the engineering team.
\
19. Ensure all developed features are well-tested and meet the required quality standards.
\
20. Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms.
\
21. Continuously monitor system performance and make recommendations for optimization.
\
22. Work closely with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment and operations.
\
23. Support the implementation of infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
\
24. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with DevOps engineers.
\
25. Plan and prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
\
26. Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
\
27. Document and communicate changes to codebases, APIs, and other technical artifacts.
\
28. Facilitate communication between different teams and stakeholders through clear and concise documentation.
\
29. Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and tools for potential adoption.
\
30. Stay up-to-date with relevant industry conferences, meetups, and workshops.
\
31. Represent the company at external events, meetings, and conferences when necessary.
\
32. Build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and vendors.
\
33. Other responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.

34. Required Skills and Qualifications:

35. 8+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the healthcare and factory automation sectors.
\
36. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
\
37. Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
\
38. Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
\
39. Familiarity with database management systems, including relational databases like MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
\
40. Understanding of microservices architecture and its benefits.
\
41. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
\
42. Strong understanding of web development principles and technologies.
\
43. Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
\
44. Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
