Principle Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate a comprehensive after-school activities program for the lower school on a semester basis. Evaluate and modify annually.
* Assisting with the planning, coordinating and management of all Graded hosted games and tournaments
* Manage the Graded Eagles Social Media account in collaboration with the Graded Communications team and the Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT)
* Responsible for finding sponsors for school activities that will fit in with the ethos of the school.
* Responsible for introducing new activities for the program in consultation with the Director of Athletics & Activities
* Responsible for creating a schedule for the ASA program and communicating this to all concerned in an efficient and timely manner
* Manages the process of student sign ups, ensuring that data is entered efficiently by all responsible
* Ensures that timely communication goes to parents regarding their child's after school activities program
* Responsible for providing accurate information to the business office for necessary stipends/salary to be effected for after school activities
* Ensures that all ASA leaders are aware of operational procedures
* Produces data on after school activities program as and when required
* Handles complaints/questions/inquiries in the first instance and resolving these issues satisfactorily.
* Deals with students' behavioral issues.
* Carries out recruitment of staff to the ASA program, ensuring that all necessary pre-employment checks are carried out
* Supervising staff running the activities and supporting the program to ensure that the program runs efficiently, safely and effectively.
* Responsible for managing the ASA reports and sharing with designated personnel (i.E. ASA attendance lists, Homeroom class ASA lists, Transportation reports)
* Handles all communication regarding any changes to the program
* Responsible for creating operational systems to ensure the program runs smoothly.
* Attend meetings/duties/tournaments as required, which may be outside normal office hours and at weekends.
* Executing any other duties or assignments as directed by the Director of Athletics and Activities.
