Key Responsibilities:

* Research and identify potential clients and industries to target.
* Develop and execute outreach campaigns using email, phone calls, and social media.
* Schedule and conduct virtual discovery meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and present our solutions.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

* Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.

Client Relationship Management:

* Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.
* Act as the main point of contact for prospective clients during the sales process.
* Work closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless handoff and excellent client onboarding experience.

Market Representation and Brand Promotion:

* Represent the firm as a trusted partner for outsourced bookkeeping and tax services.
* Participate in virtual networking events and webinars to connect with potential clients and partners.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content and campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.

Reporting and Administration:

* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in the CRM system.
* Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
* Stay up to date on industry developments to identify new opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

* A proven track record in sales, telemarketing, appointment setting, or a similar role.
* Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport over the phone or video call.
* Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
* A strong ability to research and identify opportunities, analyze market trends, and develop targeted outreach strategies.
* Remote work experience is preferred, with the ability to manage time, priorities, and communication effectively without direct supervision.
* A comfortable level of proficiency in using CRM software to manage leads and pipelines.
* A goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.
* A positive attitude and self-motivated approach to work.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish trust, foster loyalty, and build long-term relationships.
* The ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
* Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
* A willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and strategies.

About the Role:

This remote sales and business development representative role focuses on developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a persuasive demeanor, and the ability to effectively engage prospects and close deals.

System Requirements:

* A minimum internet speed of 20mbps for main use and 10mbps for backup.
* A desktop or laptop with an i5 processor, at least 8 GB RAM, and an i3 processor for backup.
* Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption.
* A webcam.
* A noise-canceling USB headset.
* A quiet, dedicated home office space.
