This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Services, requiring close collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver clean, reliable datasets.
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in columnar and table formats, including Parquet, Delta, Hudi, and Iceberg. Additionally, knowledge of data quality tools such as Great Expectations and Soda, as well as experience with Step Functions, EventBridge, or Kinesis, is essential.
Strong soft skills are also necessary, including good communication and teamwork, proactivity in problem-solving, and the ability to handle agile environments and rapid changes.
