Sales Manager – UltraEdit / FusionCharts

A Embarcadero Technologies is looking for a hands-on, results-driven Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for both UltraEdit and FusionCharts. You'll coach and grow a small international team, execute strategic goals, and drive revenue across new and existing customer bases. This is a high-impact role where you'll collaborate closely with the General Manager and cross-functional leaders in marketing and product. You'll be expected to lead by example, track team performance with precision, and create a culture of ownership, learning, and customer focus.
What You'll Do
● Own and deliver on quarterly and annual revenue targets
● Coach and develop sales reps through regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, skill-building sessions, and performance feedback
● Position the right people in the right roles — and make tough calls when needed
● Track team KPIs (calls, emails, pipeline quality, etc.) and report weekly to leadership
● Collaborate with Account Managers to uncover expansion opportunities and close complex deals
● Partner with Product teams to surface "voice of the customer" insights that inform roadmap decisions
● Strengthen reseller and channel partner relationships, identifying ways to grow through them
● Build and refi ne sales playbooks that refl ect the nuances of each brand's sales cycle and objections
● Ensure you and your teams deeply understand the products, competitive positioning, and customer personas
● Collaborate across Marketing, Product, and Support to ensure a unifi ed go-to-market approach
● Proactively escalate major account issues with a clear problem-solution mindset
What You'll Bring
● 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales leadership role (SaaS or software strongly preferred)
● Demonstrated ability to lead sales teams to exceed quota and grow pipeline
● Experience coaching sales reps on strategy, messaging, and execution
● Strong understanding of technical sales and how to communicate value to both engineers and decision-makers
● Familiarity with reseller/channel sales models
● Excellent written and verbal English skills; able to clearly communicate across time zones and cultures
● Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in a remote-fi rst environment
● Strong command of CRM reporting and pipeline forecasting
● A growth mindset — eager to test, learn, and refi ne systems for better results
Bonus Points
● Experience working with or leading remote international teams
● Familiarity with UltraEdit, FusionCharts, or other developer-facing tools
● Strong understanding of developer personas and technical buyers
● Experience driving change in underperforming or turnaround situations
