Software Developer Role Overview
* This is a role for a skilled Software Developer to create world-class Salesforce applications.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Design and Development: Develop innovative new tools and services on the Salesforce platform tailored to labor resource management, payroll, and human resources;
2. User Experience Enhancement: Develop custom interfaces, advanced workflows, and other technical elements within Salesforce that improve the overall user experience;
3. Training and Growth Management: Provide training to junior developers and manage their growth as engineers;
4. Business Process Analysis and Implementation: Analyze business processes and translate them into efficient Salesforce implementations, leveraging Flows, Apex, LWC, and any other relevant APIs;
5. Integration and Troubleshooting: Assist with integrations involving third-party APIs and implementation; take ownership of issues through to resolution, including translating business requirements to technical story requirements, troubleshooting issues, driving internal communication with business stakeholders, and gathering feedback to improve technical solutions on a regular basis;
6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise and work closely with internal teams on raised technical challenges and help guide product roadmap changes/new features;
7. Culture and Excellence: Support a culture of collaboration, respect, engineering/operational excellence, and regular delivery of customer value;
8. Solution Design and Delivery: Analyze complex business and technical requirements, with a particular focus on their impact on the application infrastructure and environment, to guide solution design and delivery;
9. Architecture and Performance Optimization: Enhance existing architecture and optimize performance for scale via best practices and industry standards;
10. Development Deliverables and Code Reviews: Manage and complete Salesforce development deliverables with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple in-flight stories and initiatives; establish best practices for code reviews, documentation, and the Salesforce development life cycle, contributing to the knowledge base and continuous learning of the development team;
11. Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform all testing of Salesforce code, components, and integrations, including helping write detailed user testing instructions for business users.
