Project Director
We're seeking a seasoned Project Director to oversee delivery execution for intricate, multifaceted initiatives in an agile engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of complex projects from inception to completion, encompassing planning, execution, and post-delivery evaluation.
* Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success, leveraging Agile methodologies to facilitate iterative development and continuous improvement.
* Serve as primary liaison between stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, as well as implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery and optimal results.
* Facilitate regular project meetings, workshops, and working sessions to foster collaboration, resolve issues, and ensure stakeholder engagement.
* Provide data-driven insights to inform project decisions, driving strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
* Analyze project performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted solutions to enhance overall project outcomes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives in an Agile environment.
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their application in software development.
* Hands-on experience using Jira for project management, backlog tracking, and issue resolution.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Able to operate in ambiguous environments, bringing structure and clarity to complex problems.
* Experience with prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs.
* Familiarity with basic SQL concepts and financial/ accounting principles is a plus, but not required.
