This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to ensure the successful migration of enterprise workloads, applications, and data from on-premises or single-cloud environments to multi-cloud architectures.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & LeadershipDevelop and execute comprehensive multi-cloud migration strategies and roadmapsLead cross-functional teams, including cloud architects, engineers, and business stakeholdersDefine migration priorities, timelines, and success criteriaEstablish governance frameworks for multi-cloud environmentsTechnical DeliveryOversee the assessment, planning, and execution of application and infrastructure migrationsEnsure proper cloud-native architecture design and implementationManage workload placement decisions across different cloud providersImplement cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization strategiesProject ManagementCoordinate multiple concurrent migration projects and workstreamsManage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocationIdentify and mitigate risks throughout the migration lifecycleProvide regular status updates to executive leadership and stakeholdersStakeholder ManagementCollaborate with business units to understand requirements and constraintsWork with vendor partners and cloud service providersFacilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholdersManage change management and user adoption initiativesCompetenciesTechnical SkillsCloud Platforms: Expert-level knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud PlatformMigration Tools: Experience with cloud migration tools (AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, Google Cloud Migrate, etc.)Infrastructure: Strong understanding of networking, security, databases, and enterprise applicationsAutomation: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)Containers: Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestrationDevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience Requirements8+ years of experience in cloud computing and infrastructure5+ years in project/program management roles3+ years specifically in cloud migration projectsExperience managing teams of 10+ technical professionalsProven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise migrationsSoft SkillsStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsProblem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesChange management and stakeholder engagement expertiseEqual Opportunity EmployerAt TELUS Digital, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. The range displayed is only the annual base salary. To maintain equity across the business, annual performance bonus targets are determined by job level, not individual circumstances.Individual base salaries are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons determined during the interview process. Salary bands are periodically reviewed and updated based on market changes, internal needs, and industry trends. To maintain pay equity for team members, TELUS Digital conducts regular compensation audits.Annual Base Salary Range (Performance Bonus Eligible) $95,790 — $119,738 USD
