Account Manager Position Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and achieving sales in assigned accounts with a life science background (biology or genetics). Key responsibilities include developing a sales plan tailored to assigned accounts, acting as the interface between customers and Novogene divisions, maintaining current understanding of company products and services, and utilizing Salesforce.com to document client-related information and sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Develop an effective sales plan to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
* Rapidly develop and grow business in assigned accounts.
* Serve as the key interface between customers and all relevant Novogene divisions.
* Maintain knowledge of company products and services.
* Communicate accurately with professionals within assigned accounts.
* Utilize Salesforce.com to track client-related information and sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in life science (advanced degree encouraged).
* Working knowledge of NGS, genomics, and/or molecular biology.
* Prior sales and account management experience in biotech (a plus).
* Deep knowledge/network within assigned accounts (a plus).
* Independent, self-driven, and goal-oriented.
* Experience in SFDC or other CRM software (a plus).
* Degree in biology/biochemistry/genetics.
* Some sales experience.
* Fluent in English.
