Patch Manager
As a critical IT professional, you will be responsible for planning, deploying, and validating patches across servers and endpoints.
* Interpret vulnerability scan results (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7) to prioritize remediation efforts.
* Evaluate patch criticality, handle exceptions, and apply compensating controls when necessary.
* Familiar with change management processes, maintenance windows, and ITIL-based frameworks.
* Understanding of Windows/Linux systems, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and basic networking concepts is essential.
* Awareness of patching considerations in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is required.
