Job Summary:
* We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to lead the development and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform.
* The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Configuration Management Database, Discovery, Integrations, and related Information Technology Operations Management modules.
About This Role:
* Design, develop, and implement complex IT solutions including Configuration Management Database, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
* Experience with configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules.
* Lead development of integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
* Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
* Provide solutions that utilize most out-of-the-box features without requiring customizations.
* Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns; Influence common modeling, design, and coding practices.
* Perform upgrade testing by validating customizations, configurations, and integrations across major and minor ServiceNow releases.
* Develop and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites to validate core ServiceNow functionalities, ensuring stability and reducing manual regression efforts.
* Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
* Maintain documentation for development and configuration.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* 5-7 years of ServiceNow development experience with a focus on IT Operations Management.
* Strong knowledge of Configuration Management Database, Service Model Definition, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integrations.
* Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow scripting.
* Experience with automation and DevOps practices, familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD), code versioning tools such as Git, and Agile principles
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to establish strong relationships internally and externally.
