Operations Manager
Location: Curitiba – 100% on-site
Position Purpose
We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead the full operations of an established industrial company based in Curitiba. This role carries full P&L responsibility, overseeing production, engineering, services, quality, logistics, and PCP. The Operations Manager will lead a team of approximately 70 employees, including 2 managers and 2 coordinators, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement across all operational areas. This position reports directly to the CEO in Brazil, with a dotted-line reporting to the VP in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Full P&L ownership, ensuring financial performance, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
* Leadership of production, engineering, services, quality, logistics, and PCP, promoting excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
* Development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization programs.
* Ensure operational alignment with corporate strategies and standards defined by headquarters in Europe.
* Drive team performance, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
* Establish and monitor KPIs and governance systems to ensure data-driven decision-making and transparency.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between operations, sales, and service delivery.
* Represent the operations area in strategic discussions and report performance results to executive management.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Proven experience in industrial operations management, ideally within manufacturing or industrial equipment sectors.
* Solid background managing multiple operational functions (production, engineering, logistics, quality, services, PCP).
* Demonstrated leadership of large teams (50+ employees), including managers and coordinators.
* Strong financial acumen and previous experience with P&L management.
* Experience in process improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or operational excellence programs.
* Advanced proficiency in English (mandatory) to interact with global leadership.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production, or Business Administration; MBA is a plus.
