ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is responsible for leading the development of new menswear products, from market research and product positioning to supplier management and launch execution. The position requires a strong sense of fashion trends, product development expertise, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals.
Job Responsibilities
* Independently lead the development of new products for the menswear style line.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer needs based on product style and merchandising positioning, and improve the accuracy of product development.
* Refine development plans and product positioning, while effectively controlling development costs and product quality, and continuously optimizing products.
* Develop, manage, and nurture suppliers, and carry out regular supplier evaluations and communication.
* Execute merchandising plans, maintain close communication with the China production team, follow up on product development and implementation, take ownership of product imagery, and ensure products are launched on schedule.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or above in Fashion Design or related fields.
* Experience in fashion design, in factory-based design or e-commerce fast fashion brands.
* Strong sensitivity to menswear styles, with solid judgment in color, fabric, construction, and pricing.
* Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to summarize effectively; self-driven, responsible, goal-oriented, and proactive in addressing both opportunities and challenges at work.
* Good communication and stress management skills, with the ability to complete tasks in a timely, organized, and high-quality manner.
* Proficient in Photoshop, with working knowledge of CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, rendering tools, and other graphic design software.
* Fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
