**Global Trade Compliance Specialist Role**
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Global Trade Compliance Specialist. This role will focus on researching and tracking global trade regulations, primarily across LATAM and North America.
The successful candidate will have strong research, analytical, and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail. They will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, LATAM, etc.).
* Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
* Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required.
* Ensure research and documentation meet ISO process standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bilingual: English + one LATAM language (Spanish or Portuguese).
* 5+ years of professional experience in tax, global trade, or international regulatory research.
* Working knowledge of SAP GTS or similar trade compliance systems.
* Familiarity with international trade laws and frameworks (EAR, ITAR, EU Dual Use, WCO, etc.).
