In this role, you will play a critical part in driving growth within the Mid-Atlantic & South regions by managing key food accounts and developing new business opportunities. Your efforts will focus on building relationships with retailers and distributors to enhance market presence, while leading a team to ensure effective execution in the field. Accountabilities
* Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the Mid-Atlantic & South region
* Manage sales targets across assigned accounts and introduce new products
* Mentor and develop an Area Sales Manager to improve sales execution
* Build and maintain relationships with retailers, brokers, and distributors
* Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Customer Strategy, and Operations
* Execute annual business plans and track sales performance
* Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and inform strategies
Requirements
* 5-7 years of sales experience in food or beverage retail
* Strong planning and customer management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience in utilizing and analyzing syndicated data
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
* Experience managing a network of brokers and distributors
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
