**About the Client**:
Our client is an international and growing PSP with a strong focus on the Asian market.
**Role Overview**:
The **Head of Payments** will be responsible for strategic development and operational management of the payments function. The role focuses on building a strong provider network, optimizing conversion rates, and delivering scalable solutions for global acceptance of local payment methods across Asia, Africa, and LatAm.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute the global payments strategy and define priority markets and payment methods.
- Build and expand partnerships with PSPs, acquirers, and local APM providers.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including fees, SLAs, and contractual terms.
- Oversee technical integrations (API, routing, hosting) and ensure processing stability.
- Monitor and improve KPIs such as approval rates, processing costs, and uptime.
- Manage payment risks in cooperation with Risk and Compliance teams.
- Improve regional payment UX and ensure effective communication with international clients and partners.
**Requirements**:
- Strong knowledge of global and local payment methods (cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, mobile money, local APMs).
- Proven experience building provider networks in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
- Solid understanding of API integrations, routing logic, 3-D Secure, PCI, PSD2, AML, and payment processing flows.
- Experience negotiating large contracts with banks and PSPs.
- Fluency in Russian and English (the role involves communication with international clients).
