Job Description
We are seeking an expert AWS administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities
* Cloud Infrastructure Management: Proficiency in core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, EBS, and EFS is essential for this role.
* Container Orchestration: Strong knowledge of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, security groups, NACLs, routing tables, and their application to Kubernetes clusters is necessary.
* Security Best Practices: Understanding of security best practices, IAM roles and policies, securing EKS clusters is crucial.
* Coding Skills: Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash for automating AWS tasks and managing infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform is required.
* Kubernetes Architecture: Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture including control plane components API server, etcd, scheduler, controller manager, and worker node components kubelet, kube-proxy, container runtime is essential.
* Docker Expertise: Expertise in Docker or other container runtimes image building, registry management, container best practices is necessary.
* Application Deployment: Ability to deploy, manage, scale applications using Kubernetes objects pods deployments services ingress ConfigMaps secrets is required.
* CNI Plugins: Familiarity with CNI plugins service networking ingress controllers DNS resolution within the cluster is essential.
* Persistent Storage: Knowledge of Persistent Volumes Persistent Volume Claims Storage Classes especially with AWS storage integrations is necessary.
* Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring logging solutions for Kubernetes Prometheus Grafana ELK/EFK stack AWS CloudWatch Container Insights is required.
* Helm Kustomize: Helm Kustomize package managers deploying managing Kubernetes applications configuration customization is necessary.
* CI/CD Pipelines: CI/CD pipelines integrating Kubernetes deployments automated workflows is required.
