The application enables users to perform daily searches and purchases, ensuring these purchases follow proper corporate policies and approvals. GB also allows users to manage approvals, quotes, receipts, and invoices related to the purchases.What you'll do:Develop and maintain Java code in the Guided Buying microservice.Work directly with Ariba Customer Supports and customer engineers to reproduce customer issues, gather system logs, and investigate problems.Develop and maintain the Guided Buying backend database with HANA database.Collaborate closely within a large engineering team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality tasks.Work within agile development practices, architecture governance, and quality-by-design principles.What you'll bring:Hands-on experience in Java and web application development.Experience with CI/CD tooling, Git/GitHub workflows.Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI frameworks for building intelligent features and developer tools.Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.Nice to have:Experience with Cloud Architecture.Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).Experience with procurement technologies.Bring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
